She is truly an inspiring young woman who has many years of familiarity with the system to her credit. She has developed wonderful relationships with her clients and has been helpful to them in addressing cycle issues, and in making the method easy to understand. I look forward to continuing partnership in helping couples with their fertility care.”

How long will it take me to learn Creighton?
Our program usually takes about a year to complete, although, once you sign up the sessions are not obligatory. You will start to feel confident about tracking your signs after the first month. You will feel confident about knowing how your cycle functions after the first 2-3 months of charting.
How much do Creighton FertilityCare classes cost?
At St. Raphael FertilityCare Center you pay as you go. The introductory session is $25. The fertility kit is $70 and each Follow up is $50. Since there are typically 8 Follow up sessions in a year the average total is usually around $400. Our center also offers services regardless of ability to pay.
How do online Creighton Method classes work?
Virtual Creighton Sessions are convenient and run easily. After an in-person Introduction Session (if you are local and one can be arranged) follow ups are conducted via phone, FaceTime, or Google Hangouts. All information shared between the client and practitioner is shared via a Google Docs folder that the practitioner will have set up. Prior to the follow ups clients are required to scan and send a clear picture of the inside and back of their charts. This can be done easily by downloading a scanning app to your phone and uploading it to the Google Docs file. All clients are provided an instructional letter with their fertility packet when they choose online sessions.
Can I use this system to track my cycles postpartum?
Yes! Creighton is very effective in navigating the return in fertility whether you are totally breastfeeding, partially breastfeeding, or not breastfeeding at all.
Can I use this system with very irregular cycles and or hormonal issues such as PCOS?
The Creighton System can be used for any situation during your procreative life. This includes irregular cycles, anovulatory cycles, and PCOS. It is highly accurate in deciphering between the infertilie and fertile times even though these cycles can be very difficult to navigate. Another extremely positive benefit in using this system for these conditions is the possibility of treatment through NaProTECHNOLOGY. See the “About” page for more information and personal experience.
What is the effectiveness of using this system to avoid pregnancy?
The method effectiveness (perfect use) is 99.5%. The use effectiveness (typical use) is 96.8%. These effectiveness measures are as good as oral contraceptives and better than any other drug or device on the market. For reference oral contraceptive use has a 91% use effectiveness, while condoms have an 82% use effectiveness. Further, the Creighton Method also has the highest continuation % rate: Creighton is 89%, oral contraceptive use is 67%, and condom use is 43%. What is the difference between Creighton and IVF?
Creighton allows women to learn the signs of their bodies to make natural procreative choices, while monitoring, maintaining, and evaluating their gynecologic health. It works cooperatively with the natural cycle. IVF is a process of fertilization where an egg is combined with sperm outside the body. Usually, the process involves removing an ovum from the ovaries and letting sperm fertilize it in a laboratory. When a couple struggling with infertility uses Creighton they are addressing the reasons behind their fertility and treating the disease or problem in order to help the infertility. IVF typically does not address the reason for infertility and only looks for a successful pregnancy instead of overall health. IVF has a 20-25% “per cycle” success rate. However, the discontinuation rate is extremely high due to high expense, medial risk, and ethical problems. Creighton combined with NaProTechnology has up to an 80% success rate for achieving pregnancy. However, this could take 8-12 months to achieve because Creighton treats the disease not only the infertility.
